It's been a long time since I was on our blog, but I have read so many good books lately! I highly recommend Junot Diaz' This is How You Lose Her. Michael Chabon's Telegraph Avenue was a disappointment for me, but you may enjoy the story, especially if you enjoy the jazz music scene. It has caused me to re-read Ulysses, so that says something for it. I am enjoying James Joyce (the first time was required reading in college and I do not recall "enjoy" being how I would have described it). I am excited for our second book club selection, Good Omens since I am a fan of both authors and I could use a laugh right now. Couldn't we all? It's been a tough last couple of weeks.
